Vegas baby…my recent trip
I just returned from a 4 day visit to Vegas. I went for a medical conference. We stayed in a suite at the Bellagio courtesy of St John Oakland hospital. It was slightly nicer then the accomadations at the Imperial Palace.
Honestly, the room was awesome including 3 bathrooms (with TVs!), a steam shower, a jaccuzzi tub. I took a jaccuzzi bath while watching ESPN. It was great. We went to 2 shows: KA and O. Both were good but O was amazing. It was like watching a beautiful nightmare. So much artistry and athleticism. You should all see O next time you visit Vegas. My med school held a reception at Studio 54 before KA, which was fun. Let’s just say Studio 54 is nothing like Choices. Other highlights included a dinner at Olives overlooking the fountains and purchasing some cool Star Wars stuff at the M&M factory. Gambling wise I left Vegas up just over $100.00. Though it was difflicult to find $5 black jack tables. It seems Vegas is increasingly becoming unaccomadating to the novice or low-budget gambler. each time I go to Vegas I have a great time and this trip was no different. It was a nice break from the reality of working day after day but I’m happy to be home.
